Rulers    

Rulers need to be changed! Icon in top left angle of rulers opens a dialog for numeric settings. This is wrong.
In professional graphic applications user can drag a cross mark from it to set a new rulers center on document. Double click on this area should reset rulers center. This is very important feature for professionals.
It would be handy if right click on ruler opens drop list with units.
Numeric entry for specific guide can be done by double click on existing guide.

Vynil cutting plotter support    

Cutting plotters are important part of advertising industry and screen printing. Under win32 platform vector editor and cutting software are independent products and often simple cutting software cost is almost the same as for conventional vector editor. It would be great to have powerful interactive cutting module in sK1.

Win32 port    

Often users ask sK1 for Windows to substitute CorelDRAW. After successful UniConvertor porting (it contains sK1 engine) such feature is really possible.

Change Color Set    

Corel like color set is useless for professional use. It's full of trash (colors which user will never need), and there are no info about colors. This must be change!

On starting of application only 4 items in color set are needed:
1. none
2. white (0,0,0,0)
3. black (0,0,0,100)
4. registration (100,100,100,100)

During a work, application should add new colors which are used in project into a color set. If user change some color in color set, he also change color for all the objects which are connected to that color. User can't change starting 4 colors.

There is also need for some info for every color. I recommend color name (name given by user or color code) and color tipe (CMYK or spot).

CorelDRAW's Object Manager    

I dislike CorelDRAW but I must admit that Object Manager is very handy.

This is a tree like structure:
1. Document pages are main branches. On bottom of list is master page.
2. Every page has branches of layers.
3. Every layer has three check-box selectors: visibility, printing and editing. Every layer has branches of objects and groups of objects.

There should be buttons for adding pages and layers, of course. ;-)

I never seen better system. This would be nice feature for sK1.

Console (CLI)    

This isn't even nearly essential feature, but I found this could be a handy one.

I never use textual input (console) in graphic application, but in video games this feature show like very fast and useful. Maybe in lower part of screen could be added one line console for textual inputs.

Example:
1. Select object "logo_group" on workspace.
2. Press F12 to open a console.
3. Shape name is automatic fill in. Cursor is blinking and waiting for entry of properties.
4. Type x=122mm. Sentence now is "logo_group x=122mm".
5. Press Enter on keyboard to apply. Object "logo_group" will be moved on new position, and console is closed.

Benefits:
- Good option for expert users.
- Use less screen space than couple of panels.
- Fastest way to change properties.
- When changing position and dimensions user can just type desired unit.
- Good for future development of sK1 because it makes possible to test new features without making GUI for them.

Problems are like in all textual HCI systems. Need education and it's sensitive on typing errors.
